If I open HM2 before I open stars I'm not able to select Active session in the drop down (selected session: ) I can only select a past session.

I need to close HM2 and then reopen and that option is there.

When I do get active session in the box, nothing refreshes as per above. refresh button also does nothing.

EDIT:

Just found a solution. If I select my player as just my pokerstars account it works and the active session updates as I play on stars. I have always been selected on my alias account which includes all the other sites.

Not sure if that is something wrong with my alias then that has been the cause all along?

This is a known issue and it has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. While I do not have a specific date for when this issue will be resolved, we are putting out updates regularly.

The assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HM-4229. We will often release builds on a limited basis, only in the forums for a few days first, so please check back on this thread http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-releases/ for that ticket #.
