Hi,
looks like an old issue but I have the same problem with the latest version of hm2. I was so happy about the fact that the hotkeys have been added and fixed and I could mark my hands for review with one click which worked just fine. But recently i noticed that they just disapear if you want to return to them after 24h. On my previous session i thought maybe I did sth wrong and the hands have been not saved. But yesterday I finished my session late at night and i wanted to see if this time the marked hands are saved and they were. But it was to late to analyze them so ok, i will do it tomorrow. Today I just wanted to go back to them but....they are gone. Any ideas, guys?
This issue has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve.
The assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HM-8042: Marking hands via hotkey, then restarting, the hands are not marked in the DB
I have added your email address to the ticket so we can notify you once we have fixed it.
And after 3 years I have the same problem in HM2 2.0.0.8473
Did you try this:
After your session you could try going to the Reports > Sessions report and enable the [x] Marked Hands filter above the Hands View grid and then change the mark or add a second mark to the hands you marked during the session and hopefully they will not be forgotten that way
I do not have an ETA. It is a low level issue.

I appreciate that you have more pertinent issues to work on, it would be nice however if this feature could work, as it's very useful to be able to target specific hands that one encountered as troublesome during a session in this manner. I often don't remember small details if I review a day later, or even after just closing and opening HM2. Anyway, thanks for the work-around tip, I'll give it a try.
