HUD popup all black

If i check "Click for Popup" when having "regular background" black and "regular text" white on the popup designer all the popup will be black with no text. If i disable the "click for popup" it works fine (black background and white text).

Last HM version.

Thats strange. Please give us more details about your computer, operating system, service pack level, virus scanner, firewall, exact HM version....

Im using Windows 7, HM 1.09.02, firewall by hardware, no antivirus enabled (kasperky installed, but disabled.)

Change the regular background from BLACK to light yellow... and
the Regular text from WHITE to BLACK....

at least that's what my settings look like

I know the default settings, but i want the background black with white text.

It works if i don't have the "click to popup" checked.

I have read your OP. You may be right that when set to BLACK (combined with Click for Popup), the BLACK is too dominant (and unlike when set to another color) your WHITE text is unable to come through.

What if you pick "BLACK (transparent)" for the regular blackground....?
of change white to another color.... all text colors are blocked by the black background?
What happens when you only set the sessions background to black?
