Activation/Licence issue

Hi

I have just tried to activate my new purchase of HM2 and am getting an error. In My Account online, the licence code is correct, and I have only tried to register on one computer. It says the licence is valid, but in HM2 it says it is a trial and I am prompted everytime I login. So I re-enter the licence key and the error message of doom everytime. The error in details as is follows:

Could not activate licence at server
Unable to connect to the remote server

Please could someone assist so I don't lose the rest of my hair?
