This is still not fixed right?
I was just going to do this thinking it would have been fixed a long time ago but the restore button is grey.
I had to overwrite the DB to be able to click the button.
I guess the hole restore thing doesnt even work at all why not remove it from the software until it works.

Did you export just notes and then restore database?
What exactly are you trying to do?
