I made a new DB in HM2.
I have exported my player notes from my old HM2 db to a HMNOTES file, how do I import them into my new HM2 db?

Yea like I havent tried that.
I have a .HMNotes file you can only restore .bkhembk files.
I have a new db where I have imported hh files into.
The only thing I did a backup on was the player notes from the old db.
It's currently not possible to import a .HMNotes file
(this will be added to HM2, enabling you to also import all your HM1 notes)
Until that time, the temporary solution is, importing an entire database (bkhembk, or HM1 database)

In HM2: you can import a HM1 database (if HM1 is still installed), a HM2 database and backup file, and a PokerTracker database (if PokerTracker is installed).
Importing notes is a different issue: it's not yet possible to import a "exported notes" file. You have to import an entire database that contains notes.

In PT4 you can export/import only notes why does it take so long for HM2 to get this.
When will I be able to import my HMNOTES file?
This is still an open issue.

What does that mean? This is still an open issue.
a No one knows how to implement it yet
b I dont have a clue
c We are going to implement it but I dont know when
d Its been 7.5 months since HM2 was released and if its not in now the chance it will come is slim to zero
I need my notes and I need to be able to start a new db once a month and import my hh files.
I use HM2 for NC and I dont want NC notes thats older then 1 month and I dont want to use filters in NC because they will decrease import speed. And there is no purge older then x days function in NC as in Notetracker.
So each month I make a new DB and import my HH files but that makes me loose my notes. Or having a backup of my notes I cant restore.
We are going to implement it but I dont know when
We'll add a proper HM2 import/export feature.
Also enabling you to import the notes you took in HM1.
