PostgreSQL not installing

    Default PostgreSQL not installing

    After I try to continue on the 'initialise database cluster' bit i click next then i get an data directory error saying 'the postgresql data directory must be an NTFS formatted volume'. What do I do?

    Then it says enter correct volume label for drive c... what do i put for that?

    Im no expert but i presume that just means the name the disk will be called after its converted. So you can put whatever you like. Again as in the article if you have anything important on the drive back it up just in case. I done this myself before though and its very starightforward and hard to do anything wrong but might take a while depending on disk size
