Update killed my HEM2 license

    Default Update killed my HEM2 license

    I have a (previously) working HEM2 license. The new update today (.6384) resulted in it loading once and asking me for my license. I entered my license and it worked okay. The second time I opened it it asked me for my license again and this time it's telling me there are "Errors while registering with server. Retry, or if problems persist please contact customer service". So, I retryed, and now I am contacting customer service.

    Running windows 7, already went through the FAQ for license fuck-ups; deleted the license file and tried again, no change, am running as administrator etc. etc.

    Exact same scenario as me. Today's .6384 update has killed my license. Windows 7 64-bit also.

    Edit: also tried the license deletion tips from the faq, no change.

    Same problem here, updated today redid license and played for a few hours. Come back a couple hours later and try to open up hm2, did'nt work.

    Hey support dudes this is sort of important, our entire program doesn't work. Ideally you could issue us temporary licenses or something until you fix the problem. I was planning to use HEM2 for a webcast in ten minutes and... uhhh... I guess now you'll get a webcast where I tell everyone HEM2 doesn't work?

    First of all, we need to enable the option to see Hidden Files: How to see hidden files in Windows

    Problems Registering Holdem Manager:

    Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\Holdem Manager2.lic)

    This is a hidden SYSTEM file. (not just a regular hidden file)



    1.Create a new text document in C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager \Config folder by right clicking inside the folder on a blank space, choose New from the popup Menu and then choose text document and name it LicDebug with a capital L and D
    2.Open HM2 and register
    3.Close HM2 and delete the LicDebug .txt file if it fixes the issue or not/
