Default Many hands but only a few notes?

I have created quite a few note defs by now and I have a lot of great notes on a lot of players. However, some of the regs where I have 100k+ hands on I have very few notes on? And I am talking about notes like 3bet frequencies that happens all the time.

Other times the notes are just missing altogether for a couple of players. Right now, I am playing against a reg that I have 39k hands on but no notes whatsoever.

Is it 100% certain that NC never misses a hand?? I would be nice to be able to re-create notes for a certain player.

    Any suggestions??

Make sure you have the latest version http://wiki.assaultware.com/How-to-m...ddy-build.ashx

also make sure you don't have file->filters selected

You can check if players have notes in the database by going to tools->player note history and putting their names. If it's there but not in the hud then it's a problem

I know there is a link to the latest build:
    http://www.assaultware.com/NoteCaddy.latest.zip

But how do I know when this link is updated??

Download it and check the date on the file. Also, once HEM does another official release it will be back to auto update

Default Notes are defined correctly - but don´t appear in HUD / aren´t created?

I have a seemingly weird problem (if I understood everything correctly, what I´ve done so far):

    1) I define a new note (pretty easy one, for examle "cold call in SB $cardrange", only parameters are "position = SB", "action = coldcalls x/y/z").

    2) When I click "seek" I see the succeeding hands - and everything´s fine.

    3) I run "perform pending actions".

    4) The "Note definitons" window shows that 17 instances were created ( or "would be"?).

    5) When I click "analyze" I get an error message "Cannot analyze definition since there are no notes for it".

    6) When I open one of the succeeding hands in the HEM replayer there´s no note showing up for the player either (only the existing NC notes show up).

Running the hand in question in the test window shows SUCCESS, so note and hand should be correct.

Am I doing sth. wrong, missing a certain step in 1-6? Is "performing pending actions" not sufficient? Is there an additional time-delay that creates the notes asynchronous in the background?

PS: It´s my test-db which contains only 5k hands, so there shouldn´t be any time-lag ...

    OK, continuing my analysis:

    1) I removed any note, except one (the one I want to test, this time a single "donk flop" note).
    2) I reset all notes. Exporting notes to text file shows me that no notes are left (file only contains the header).
    3) Create notes. => "Notes added: 20" (same nr shows up in "note definitions window").
    4) Export notes to text file shows that only 15 (!!) notes were actually created (deleted the SN´s):

    ------------------------------------------------------
Database: HEM2_2012_EXP Max hand processed: 5218
    ------------------------------------------------------

    ...: [F]donk flop {impl. strength}(1 +13.2bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {TPGK}(1 +65.3bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {JJ op}(1 +34.6bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {impl. strength}(1 +9.6bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {impl. weakness,tp+gs}(2 +9.1bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {impl. weakness}(1 -6.5bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {impl. weakness-2}(2 -10.0bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {2O+sd}(1 -22.8bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {impl. weakness,TPGK}(2 -55.7bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {BP}(1 +27.1bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {small overpair}(1 -16.0bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {impl. strength}(1 +10.5bb) [Holdem 6-max]

    5) Exit HEM2, restart, no other changes, database remains untouched.
    6) Repeat 2) - 3). => "Notes added: 20"
    7) Export notes to text file shows that indeed 20 notes were created this time (the red ones were missing before):

    ------------------------------------------------------
Database: HEM2_2012_EXP Max hand processed: 5218

    ...: [F]donk flop {impl. strength}(1 +9.6bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {impl. strength,impl. weakness}(2 +21.1bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {mid pair}(1 -6.0bb) [Holdem 6-max]

    ...: [F]donk flop {impl. weakness,tp+gs}(2 +9.1bb) [Holdem 6-max]

    ...: [F]donk flop {2O+sd}(1 -22.8bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {impl. weakness,TPGK}(2 -55.7bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {BP}(1 +27.1bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {small overpair}(1 -16.0bb) [Holdem 6-max]
    ...: [F]donk flop {impl. strength}(1 +10.5bb) [Holdem 6-max]

As mentioned, the database was exactly the same, the additional hands were available in the first run as well. Any ideas?

ADD: OK, last problem could have to do with "Turbo Hand Grabber", after switching it off, I couldn´t reproduce the behaviour. <= forget that, in another test, same behaviour appeared again, despite not using turbo hand grabber.

Any news on that? I´m PRETTY SURE that NC does not work correctly ...

I created a small test database with roughly 4k hands and tested any scenario one can think of - and it shows that some notes definitely are missing - notes that are marked as *SUCCESS* in the test window, as well as notes that sometimes even appear in the player history?!

Resetting the notes btw did not help, still there would not all notes be created properly.

Impatiently awaiting any news on this topic, as I´m slowly going mad here ... or to be more precise, I´m about to lose any trust in the program, which prevents me from putting too much effort in creating new notes.

If you have the latest version as indicated earlier in this thread and still have the issue please make a log and send to support How to make a log and send it to support

Most important is to include the error_log.txt

Yeah, I installed the latest version (1 hour ago).

E-Mail sent - along with logfiles (no error log was created though) and a bunch of screenshots to hopefully clear it up. Thanks for taking care of this!!!
