Creating a new smaller database

I just wanted to double check about something. If I have a big database and wanted to create a new database but starting only from hands a month ago, I would have to export all hands from the big database, import all hands, then purge all hands prior to a month ago? Is there no way to export only part of a database?

Hands tab > All Hands > Last 30 Days > [x] all > right-click > export all hands to hard drive. This is a workaround until a proper filtered export is added. This is more CPU intensive and I wouldnt recommend it for large numbers of hands, but a month should be OK (unless you 24 table full time ).
