Default Copy HHs from 2 archive folders, and use in a "big" third database?

    Hi.

I play both on my first computer and my laptop. Just bought a network hard drive which I can access from both computers.

Is it possible to copy the hand histories from both computer's "archive folder", and paste the copied HHs into a single folder on my network drive, and then make a third HM database with ALL hand histories from both computers?

Or is there going to be some problem with the third DB, like missing some hands/double hands, or some other error?

The best solution maybe is to use the same "archive folder" located on the network drive, but I don't want those disks running all the time i play, and want to play away from home sometimes.

    Default

the archive folder is not the database its just a backup of the files.

The database is a group of files in the postgresql\data folder which is managed by the postgresql server.

You have 2 options for accessing this database from 2 computers:
    network: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=161
    external harddisk: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=154
(but i cant recommend the 2nd option).
If it is not to much work for you use 2 separate postgresql installation and copy the handhistory files and import them on both computers.
