HEM just opens and then closes when open HELP!
Hi,
My HEM has started to just close when I open it. I upgraded to the latest version and the problem is still there. It worked fine until yesterday.
I have opened it without other programs open and it still does it.
I'm running Windows Vista.
Any help is appreciated.
Did you reboot your computer?
Any error message?
UAC switched off?
Latest Beta 41?
Yes I rebooted.
No there are no error messages. Just opens to the import screen then shuts down straight away.
Yes I downloaded the latest beta 1.08.04 is the version I have and per the notice currently above is the latest version.
Yes UAC off. Also tried with it on and using run as administrator.

1) Clear your web cache, and Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe
2) Right-Click > Save Link As to save it to a different folder.
3) Reboot, and run the installer first thing.
4) Make sure the update is installing to the proper \holdem manager folder
Don't mean to sound dumb but what is a web cache? Is this the temp internet files etc.
I checked and I am running version 1.08.04 full version.
It did the open/close thing before I upgraded - that's why I upgraded before asking for help.
You need the latest BETA version which is 1.09 Beta 41. Please download it from the link in my signature.
Latest Beta fixed it.
