    Please try reindexing your database. Open PGAdmin > right click on the Database > Maintenance > select Reindex.

    did not help

    and I am not sure how it could, the query seems to be the problem not the database

    I think there should be my player IDs in the brackets read from the aliases table. I see the IDs in the aliases table but it seems the program does not read them, does not care (no internal checks???) and constructs an invalid query

    I dont know how this could have happened, everything worked fine for 2 weeks

    I also tried uninstalling (and deleting all files) and reinstalling the software, leaving the db in place, did not help

    I guess it looks like I will have to also purge the db and start over if you cant help me

    Create a new database and reimport the hands.

    Home tab--> database--> create a new database
    Run a import from folder on your archive folder, C:/HM2Archive
    Try that first, before we try to import the old notes.

    Try to turn off your PostgreSQL server.
    Start HM2.

    HM2--> won't be able to detect a database, and bring you to a screen that is similar to Database Control Panel in HM1.

    Start the PostgreSQL server.
    Create a new database.
