no color definitions to choose from?

My problem is similar to this one. But in my case i have never had any colors showing when you try to modify color definitions.

I am running the current version.

When i go to tools>import>color definitions (which file am i importing?) I have tried with C:\users\blah\blah\roaming\holdem manger\color definitions. to no avail.


I have the settings folder set up correctly to my pokerstars screen name notes xml.

I just dont see a tutorial on how to get the colors to appear? I know they are created as i can search for them, but i cant change them as i cant see any of them.

They're supposed to be there by default but apparently yours aren't...

You should try:

-close hm2
-open C:\Users\YourWindowsLogin\AppData\Roaming\HoldemMa nager
-delete the file colordefinitions.xml
-open hm2

Yes mate. I have done that. My screen looks just like what that other guys did in his you tube video. Has always been that way. Tried almost everything that I could find online but with no luck. Any other ideas?

Hi, yes it does show up in the list as a new active color defination, but it also has no color choice.

If there's no color choice then you have either no stars notes file or the wrong stars notes file selected. What is the path of the file you have entered in file->settings->color settings for stars?

That sounds right (I'm assuming the forums here inserted the space). I think you sent me your log. I will look at it today and let you know. If possible, please also send me your notes.GinjaNinga.xml file. Off the top of my head the problem could be that there's no colors associated to the labels in there. I would've asked earlier but I didn't understand the problem initially.

I responded to the email but then saw the first email that said you might not receive it so here is what I responded:

You have no labels in your notes file. I'm not sure how that happened but that's why there's no colors. You can define them in the pokerstars software. Easier might be if you delete the file and then take some random note on someone so stars generates the default
