It does import but doesn't do anything with it?

    Default It does import but doesn't do anything with it?

    My HM does import the files from PokerStars and puts it in the archive map, but it doesn't seem to do anything with it. I can't setup a Hero, because HM sais I have 0 players. If I play at a table this is how it looks like (and if I just played a hand it says importing file 1 of 1 with no errors).




    If I go to cash games, it says I have to click on change because I haven't chosen a player. If I do that I can't find any players.



    If I click on the little down arrow next to change and choose edit, I get this error:

    But that's probably because it thinks there are 0 players.



    What should I do?

    1) Clear your web cache, and download the beta update again from signature, with another browser if possible.
    2) Right-Click > Save Link As to save it to a different folder.
    3) Reboot, and run the installer first thing.
    4) Make sure the update is installing to the proper \holdem manager folder

    It should say beta 37 now in the title bar.


    Pokerstars normally writes HHs to:

    \users\username\appdata\local\pokerstars\handhisto ry\pokerstarsname


    Is your auto import folder shown in the pic where you setup pokerstars to write hands to? Or is that the same as the \hmarchive?

    1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using eg 1.06.04 Beta 12?
    The newest beta, like you said
    2) What Poker Site are you playing on and which gametype and does the problem occur on more than 1 site?
    PokerStars, NLH cash and SNG and MTT
    2a) Have you clicked the Start Auto Import Button?
    Yes
    3) Have you the settings exactly as per the FAQ for your site?
    Yes
    4) Can you see the Hand History files showing up in the correct Folder on your PC, this folder should be indentical to the path location you set in Options > Configure Auto Import Folder in HM? If so please copy and paste the location as shown in the FAQ?

    5) Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager?
    It is saying it does, but if I go to report I get this message:

    If I then click change I cannot find any players.
    5a) Do they import if you create a new database?
    Well here I found something that might be interesting.

    This error I got right after I created the new database.
    Translated:
    Cannot read data from the transport connection. The exteral host stopped the connection. After that I clicked Ok and the login to the database thing with the passwords came again.

    After that I tried again to start HM and it started normal but the problem coninues.

    6) Have You Tried the Table Finder and did it work?
    It cannot find any unatatched hands
    7) If you open the HH are they written in English?
    yes
    8) If your using Vista have you UAC disabled?
    yes
    9) Have you attached the holdemmanager.config file?
