    Why?

If the updated virus definitions are such that they return a false positive on a certain type of file, the number of warnings you could receive is almost limitless as long as you have those types of files on your computer.

I use AVG. I did not have a chance to play between when all the virus software companies started flagging these files and when AVG updated their definitions to exclude HEM. I forced an update before starting HEM and have had no problems even though I am still on beta 38.

Before the latest beta (beta 40), HEM used Xenocode that created files that were falsely detected as trojans -> Windows makes backups of these files if system restore is enabled -> Your antivirus software still detects these backuped files as trojans. Disable system restore and these files should be gone and your antivirus should not detect anything after a new scan.

Please do this and report if it worked. And don't forget to update to the latest HEM beta, that doesn't have these issues!
