I've looked at the spot in detail, there's 10 samples in my test db, everything is calced correctly up to the comp of comp. The formula for it is easy, I'm fairly sure it's not my mistake.
I'll try replacing the second level comp references to the first level comp by the direct definitions, thanks for the advice.
edit: that worked. I will try to avoid second level comps in the future.
