import problem

hi, i wanted to try holdem manager, but i can't import any hands.
if if try to import this file for example: http://rapidshare.com/files/12955569...7-13_27549.rar
it processes for some time, and when it's finished this is the result:

i found something in the faq that there can be a problem when using a dual core cpu, but i'm using only a single core. so, what's the problem?

why are you importing a compressed file?


.rar is the Winrar compressed file format. Hand histories usually have a .txt or .xml extension or some other extension indicating the text format used.

try opening the .rar. file with winrar and extracting the hand histories. btw never trust hand histories you didn't get yourself. At full tilt you can easily data mine one limit over a few days and have decent stats on 80-90% of players when you first sit down.

Assuming you just zipped the file up to put it on the server and arent trying to import a .rar file then try the following:

Have you the latest update, please go to the releases forum where you can download the 1.06.01 update on page 3 or 4 of the 1.06.00 releases thread as this dealt with some problems where people couldnt import.

It looks like you are trying to import the rar though since its only trying to import 1 file so you need to download an unzip program (google it) and extract the files to a folder and then setup HM to auto import from that folder. let me know if youve any further problems.

i'm not stupid, i did offcourse decompress the file.... there is one big .txt file in the rar. importing it in the pokerstrategy elephant or pokertracker works fine
with 1.06 it's still not working

Have you gone through the instructions i gave for setting up import folders. What site are the HH from, where did you export the hands from as PO exported files are not supporrted currently.

After doing the above if you could email your holdemmanager.config file to me at paul.morny at gmail dot com and also make sure you have the latest version ie 1.06.0f
