    Question HEM moving handhistory files

    I've noticed that HEM eventually moves handhistory files to the HMArchive directory. I am wondering when this happens.

    I think the options are as follows:

    while a table is open;
    once a table is closed;
    once autoimport is stopped;
    once autoimport is restarted;
    once HEM is exited;
    others?

    Maybe I have set a switch someone, and I have forgotten. Thanks in advance!

    Some sites lock down the hand history files, and prevent HM from moving them at it's desired time: Options > Miscellaneous Options > Change Archive Duration

    It will usually do it if you start auto import before you have opened your poker site, or if you close your poker site, and then stop auto-import, if it hasn't already done it according to time. The microgaming gamehistory.dat files are notorious for not being archived, and the recent software udpates at FTP have made their HH archiving a bit buggy in recent months.
