can't vacuum analyse DB...

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the conversion but since I've moved to an external HD + 2 laptop setup I have no been able to vacuum analyze my database.

I get a pop-up saying "HEM cannot vacuum analyze database, please use PGADMIN III".

Here is what I have done in the last week since I last was able to vacuum analyze:

1) backed up old DB, removed PostgreSQL 8.2
2) installed PostgreSQL 8.3 on (2) laptops and have encoding set as: PL_SQL for server and WIN5182 or whatever for client.
3) installed data directory for PostgreSQL on an external HD that is formatted NTFS.


It appears that everything else is working fine. I’m able to import hands on both laptops and the data is being stored on the external HD properly.

Any ideas as to why I cannot vacuum analyze?

We are aware of this problem. Meanwhile, please vacuum with pgAdmin.
