Cant start Postgre after following the shared DB FAQ

Trying to Snyc a database between two computers on vista. I followed the FAQ to a T but whenever i edit the registy to the updated file on my external Postgre service will not start. When i revert the registry back to the original command line, everything starts fine. Any ideas?

UAC Off
Running Admin Mode

What does the Event viewer give you as an error? Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer -> Application
