    Default PostgreSQL problem

In Database Manager/ Maintenance tab, I get the message "Could not find PostgreSQL Installation in registry".

PostgreSQL seems to be up and running, though stats on the HUD don't pick up on the full volume of hands (even though they are shown in the Opponents tab). It's more like they are just the stats from the current session maybe?

It took me several attempts at getting HEM2 installed, so things may have got a bit mangled in the process.

    Any ideas please?

What version of postgres did you install?

The # of hands is most likely an issue of installation language or auto import folders.

    Please see these steps:

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I checked through the steps in "No HUD on table or only 3 hands showing?" but everything sems to be as it should be there.

Everything on my pc is installed in English.

When I look in pgAdminIII, two servers are listed: PostgreSQL 8.4 and PostgreSQL 9.1.

    Could that be the problem?

    Thanks,

    Daisy

In pgadminIII are 8.4 and 9.1 both using the same port?
Which port is 8.4 running on, is that the port/SQL version HM2 is using?

    HoldemManager doesn't support 9.1

    Thanks,

    I've tried the following:

I uninstalled postgres 9.1 with windows

HEM2 then said it couldn't connect to postgres so I installed postgres 8.4 off their website

PGAdminIII still says postgres servers 8.4 and 9.1 are there, (both on port 5432)

HEM2 is only showing data from yesterdays play, though the HM2 Archive folder contains archived DAT files going back several weeks.

Where can I find what version of postgres/ port HEM2 is using?

If you uninstalled 9.1, HM2 will be using 8.4 on port 5432.

    Update to: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...2.0.0.6112.exe
Try reimporting the hands into a new database.

    Thanks,

    I've just updated to 2.0.0.6112.exe

I'm getting exactly the same stats as before, that is just for yesterdays play.

I've gone in to Hand Importing. Which files/ folders do I select for importing? Auto Import Folders already points to the folder where my poker client stores DAT files, and they are archived to HM2Archive folder. The HM2Archive folder contains several GAMEHISTORY.DAT files, though these don't seem to be picked up in HEM2.

I don't know how to start a new database.

I've manually imported the files from the HM2Archive folder, that seems to have done the trick.

    Thanks for your help.
