    MY ANSWERS ARE AFTER EACH QUESTION>>> Please note <<<>>>> THE TOUNEY TAB IS WORKING FINE. I HAVE DATA ON 3 OF 6 CASH TOURNAMENTS I PLAYED TODAY; SO YOUR SOFTWARE IS WORKING, THE DATA IS RECORDING, I SIMPLY CANNOT RUN REPORTS, SEE FILTERED DATA, SEE HUD, SEE OPPONENT STATS, ETC.
    What version of Holdem Manager are you using? >>> H-Mgr Beta 1.08.01> 4 days ago, I downloaded the update twice now >>> NOTE: *** when I installed update again this AM and re-installed > The message >> "Could not install component ...     I think these were just dup files because HoldemManger.exe is the execute file. The general software seems to be ok.

    If you don't have the latest version, go to the releases forum and download the newest version and relaunch the HUD to see if the problem still exists >>>DONE >> I habe tried relaunch HUD button numerous times without getting the HUD
    2) a. What poker site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than one site?>>> Poker Stars

    b. Which type of game(s) are you playing? >>> NL, 10-25c & 25-50c

    c. Have you clicked on the Start Auto Import button? >>> Too many times to count...

    3) Often times, it is one setting or one box that has not been selected that causes the problem. Please see our detailed FAQs on configuring Holdem Manager to work with select poker sites to make sure that your HUD is set up properly for your selected poker site. >>>> I have reviewed the Poker Stars set up three times, I hope I did'nt miss anything?
    4) Check to see if the hand histories are showing up in the correct folder. >>> YES, in fact the Holdem Manager screen TABS shows 69 players and 234 hands?
    In Holdem Manager, navigate to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders and verify that the location of the folder Holdem Manager checks for is the hand histories folder of your poker client. >>>Yes I believe the folders match and I also show hand counts in H-Mgr in C:\Users\Gene Gallia\AppData\Local\PokerStars\HandHistory\
    While playing, go to that folder on your PC and see if new hand histories that correspond to the tables your playing at are showing up. >>> Yes, in fact the table I am on live when I do this shows, but no player names or correct # of players show in console screen? When I open Cash Games tab >>> "You have not selected a player to run this report"

    If you can see the hand histories, right-click on the hand history, choose Properties and you should see the location of the hand history. Please highlight that location and copy and paste that location into the answer. This can be done by highlighting the text by holding down the left mouse button while highlighting the text and then right-clicking while the text is highlighted and choosing copy and then paste it into the forum. >>> I cannot see hand history, run reports, or pull any players on the tbl I am on
    4) If the hand histories are not showing up in the folder, then go back to the FAQ, as they should show you how to check the settings in the lobby to configure the poker site to save the Hand History and make sure its sending the Hand Histories to the correct location. Contact your poker site if your unsure to find out where you can set the location of the hand histories to save. >>> I have the hand histories moving from live to my C: drive,, I have 234 hands since I H-Mgr set up file 4 days ago.
    5) So by now you should have confirmed in answering each question that you have setup the folders correctly and the hands are appearing in the correct folder. >>> LOL, I have confirmed what I say above.
    Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager? Test this by playing a couple of hands and then going to the Reports tab in Holdem Manager. Navigate to Filter > Clear and for the date filter choose today. Do the hands that you just played import successfully? Again YES

    5a) If the hand histories show up in the auto import folders, but they're not importing into the database, please create a new database and try importing some hands to test if it's a corrupt database. >>>>> The resource cannot be found. Description: HTTP 404.
    6) Have you tried the Table Finder and did it work? >>>> Yep, Table Manager message " I cannot find any unattached hands. Please wait until the Manager has imported some".

    7) If you open the hand history files, are they written in English? Note that they should be. If you have problems with SnGs and/or MTTs please try it with the english client of your pokersite. Good
    8) Make sure UAC is disabled and unselect it and restart if it is. verified twice
    9) Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder.
    If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager. To attach it to a thread in the forums, look below the post reply button when you start a new thread and you'll see a manage attachments button. Click this and attach the file.

    Now that you have the answers, please copy the following questions into the forum reply screen in the forums and add your answers from above under each questions. Skipping a question will only delay us in solving the problem:

    1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using eg 1.06.04 Beta 12? BETA trial loaded 1.08.04 4 days ago

    2) What Poker Site are you playing on and which gametype and does the problem occur on more than 1 site? Poker Stars
    2a) Have you clicked the Start Auto Import Button? My finger is bleeding, there is blood on the import button : 0

    3) Have you the settings exactly as per the FAQ for your site? YES

    4) Can you see the Hand History files showing up in the correct Folder on your PC, this folder should be indentical to the path location you set in Options > Configure Auto Import Folder in HM? If so please copy and paste the location as shown in the FAQ? WHY ARE YOU GUYS ASKING THE SAME QUESTIONS TWICE? see yes above please

    5) Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager? link tried from two pages >>> message =5a) Do they import if you create a new database? The resource cannot be found. Description: HTTP 404.

    6) Have You Tried the Table Finder and did it work?

    7) If you open the HH are they written in English? ? HH? Hands Held ? everything i see is in english
    8) If your using Vista have you UAC disabled? YES , verified and re-booted twice
    9) Have you attached the holdemmanager.config file?> C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config ****File is intact per above >>> I cannot get config to attach (Vista crap) so I will email file to fozzy. thanks

    Please update to the latest 1.09 beta 29 - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe.

    this happens when you are updating and some parts of HM didnt end properly and are still in the task manager. The easiest thing to do is reboot, and then run the Beta Update.

    Recent updates by pokerstars to their hand histories and tournament summaries require you to use our latest Beta version.


    When I open Cash Games tab >>> "You have not selected a player to run this report"
    You need to click the Change button and search your screen name.


    To get all your missed hands imported

    1) Right-Click your Desktop > New > Folder.
    2) Go to your \HMArchive folder - To verify the path, go to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: _________.
    3) Open that folder and copy the hands (folders of hands) you think it has missed. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31). Also get any hand files that are in your \poker site\hand history folder.
    4) Paste them into your new desktop folder > HM > Import From Folder.
