Adding filter columns to the report grid

I'm playing around with looking at how stats vary depending on the number of players dealt into the hand.
Playing a lot of 18 seaters and many more hands are played 5,6,7 handed. I know we can filter the hud stats to reflect this, and it's really something I should get round to doing.

What I'm trying to do is take a look at these stats in the report grid for different villains.
I can load Number of Players report, and then filter by position, one at a time.
I can load position report, and filter for # of players, one at a time.

Should it be possible to look at both in the same report?
If I try adding the "stat" from the available statistics into either report, it doesn't break it down properly.
I said "stat" as I would have thought Position, Number of players and many other items in the Available Statistics are filters aren't they, or is there something better to call them in this context?

It is possible to do this in HM1, we just have to add another groupings entry - but we don't have that ability in 2, do we? *cough*

It would be nice to be able to do a secondary sort, spreadsheet style as well, sort by position, then sort by Size.
