Stuck on validating on laptop, but PC works fine

I've tried everything, all my settings on my laptop are the same as my PC, both using vista with UAC off, firewall off, .NET is updated on both comps.

I downloaded manager and wanted to try out the trial. First I installed it on my laptop, and it just sat on validating for about 15 minutes over and over again.

Downloaded it again, this time on my PC, and it worked the very first time. I read the FAQs and searched threads but nothing worked.

Any suggestions?

If i understand you right your Laptop hangs in the Activation step?

Any error message? Is the Details button available?
Please post a screenshot.

Okay, here is screen number one. This just stays like this with the Try button grayed out for pretty much the entire duration.:

I get no error messages, it just hangs on this screen until I close the program. I've also tried updating to HEM with the beta updater, it was also no success.
