$EV Diff
I am confused by this stat. I played a hand where I was all-in preflop against one opponent. There was $8.32 in the
pot and after the hand after rake it was $7.77. I had 54% equity preflop. I won the hand and HM showed my $EV Diff
as -$4.00. I figured it as -$3.57. What am I doing wrong?
$3.91 effective stack size
x2 players
$0.50 dead money (from blinds? other player that limped but then folded)
$8.32 pot
You had 54% equity = 0.54 * 3.91 * 2 = +$4.2228
You actually won the hand and won $8.32.
So the EV Diff is: +$4.2228 - $8.32 = -$4.01
The rake isn't used in the EV calculation.
