Default How i would increase performance

    1. Get rid of widgets, IMO a total an utter waste of time and space

    2. Get rid of "my licenses"

    3. get rid of "buy upgrades"

I have yet to find one single reason why I would want them on my HM

    4. HM TV "wtf" bin it and just put a web link on the forum.

    5. "report widget abuse" oh please!!

    6. Inform people they can use ctrl d to bookmark any website they want to visit.

    7. HM Apps, why are they there if they aren't yet available?

    8. Every action has an equal and opposite action "someone tell the programmers"

    9. Upon a new build, don't forget to put things back that where already there and woking well.

    10. If NC is screwing things up for a lot of people, leave it off, get HM2 stable, then finish NC

Now I must admit as i have been trialing since day one, I don't get many problems at all, but surely the performance issues people are having need to be addressed first.

    11. Finally (not a performance issue) Inform people that this is a Beta version "they would have been happier to know before they purchased".

I agree. I'm running an old XP system, never more than 3 tables open at any one time and have never activated or even looked at note caddy. For me, HM2 is pretty stable and pretty quick. There are a huge number of threads and posts on this forum about solutions to performance issues that seem to refer to NC. I'd suggest NC be put back into alpha.

    1. For you, but not others. One of those things you could care less about, but others do.

    2. My license is needed for support reasons. Customers say hands don't show up when they have Small stakes license. This clears up any confusion here and aids support.

    3. Why remove buy upgrades? We're in business to make money and purchases should be painless.

    4. HMTV - I did the videos and they are a great marketing tool. First time customers see those videos and they are comforted that they'll have some guidance on HM features.

    5. Widgets are 3rd party content streamed directly from their website. If someone starts promoting porn or is found to be doing something to trick customers, we want to know about it right away.

    6. We don't provide support for your bookmarking needs. Microsoft Corporation: Software, Smartphones, Online, Games, Cloud Computing, IT Business Technology, Downloads or Mozilla Firefox Web Browser

    7. Apps are there because they are being worked on as we speak. They'll all be available very soon.

    8. Agreed - Please understand this is part of development. something that worked last week might break something else that was working. No way around this in any software development environment.

    9. See above

    10. NC is constantly being worked on. Try the build we're releasing in about 30 minutes. It should have most or all performance issues resolved.

    11. HM2 is not a beta product. We're comfortable with our launch and our plan post launch. We're fixing bugs at an amazing pace and I do expect in 2 weeks time that all major issues are resolved. Will there still be some bugs? Yes, there's not a single piece of software in the world that doesn't have bugs.

You can turn off the widgets by clicking X.

Any of the Apps you do not use, will not be running, and will not decrease performance.

You can always send us your log file and we can look to see what is going on and look for ways to improve. We are always striving to fix and improve.
