When you close HoldemManager (similarly when you close Mozilla Firefox) it can sometimes take 30 seconds after you've closed the program, before the actual .exe process is closed)
I experienced a similar problem yesterday, when I wanted to update HM2 and it stated (it couldn't because holdemmanager.exe was still running)

I fixed it by rebooting my computer, running the update again.

I have the same problem with update 5562.

Reboot und running the update again did not work.

Killing the process also doesn't work.

    Win7 - 64bit

process is still on after 2min of waiting

reinstalling with the main installer kind of solved the problem. if I just open and close HM2 without doing anything, the process disappears immediately. if I open notecaddy it takes about 2 min for the process to disappear. have not tested anything else yet after reinstall (like importing or reports) (2.0.0.5562)

'hmupdate.exe' will need special instructions. That file only appears during the update process and then quickly disappears after you launch HM2. So you have to 'check for updates' and after the download has started, but before you have actually installed the update, to be able to see this file while you add exceptions to firewall/anti-virus.

Also try turning off notecaddy. (notecaddy performance issues will be fixed in the next build)

    I've killed the HM2 process 2hours after closing HM2.
I am still not able to update.
I also don't really know how i could turn off Notecaddy in HM2?

    Tried it. Didn't work.

I had to kill the exe again after I changed the Options. I startet HM2 again and checked that the HUD is completely off, including the caddy report.
