hud issues with poker stars

I dont know what the issue is but here we go im using windows vista and im playing on poker stars using the holdem manager professional version
playing the 50 dollar DON sit and gos when i went to bed last night the system was fine i started my computer today and started holdem manager up and it started fine and the auto import started fine as well as did the table manager but then the HUD didnt come up when i relaunched the hud it came up but all the stats were blanked like i had never played a hand and the the count on all the number of hands seen stat was Zero and stayed there even as the manager imported the hands i was playing. any ideas?
