Either run a import from folder on the HM1 archive folder, default: C:/HMArchive.
Or use the import database feature to import the entire HM1 database.

Is there a way to do this with the restore feature?
I backed up my HM1 database a while back, producing a .hembk file. HM2 wants a .pghembk file to restore. I tried renaming the old backup file with .pghembk at the end, but the program just froze when I initiated the restore.
Or do I have to reinstall HM1 and use the export feature, then import in HM2?
Hello,
The file you changed the extension of is broken and cant be used. It would be much simpler to import straight from c:/HMArchive
Why is it broken? I can simply change the name back to what it was and nothing has changed.
In any case, If I perform another backup operation from my old computer, it will still create a file in .hembk format. How do I restore that file to HM2?
And I have nothing in C:/HMArchive ...
You can not backup the hands from HM1 and restore them into HM2. Please try import HM1 database function in the HM2 database manager.
