    Hello.

I've tried to Vacuum Analyze Database manually through post gress and through HEM. When I try manually I have to press OK every time when some error comes and because it stops then couldnt do it b/c takes forever. When I try through HEM in few mins receive and error and it stops permanently.

    thanks

Via HM it works only with Postgres 8.4 AND when Postgres is installed in default paths.

If you get errors when using the pgadmin method of vacuum/reindex, your database is probably damaged.

I've tried it many times. Every like 1-3 minutes analyzing stops, it shows that there is error in some part of database. I have to click OK it to be proceeded. Once I done it 3 days and everytime I am by PC I cklick it. Still didnt finish.
I get that database is damaged but what could be possible solutions?
    Thanks

    Export your Hand Histories
    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands

    Export Your Notes
    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/notes-02.jpg

Export Your Bonuses and Rakeback – Options > Rakeback & Bonuses http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/...bonuses-01.jpg

Export any tourney summaries by selecting all your tournaments in the Data View Sub-Tab of the Tourney > Results Menu and choose Export Tourney Results and summaries

    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/...ta-view-01.jpg

Then can you create a new database http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database

Finally reimport all your hands/notes/summaries into the new database

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created).

We have a backup and restore feature within Holdem Manager that makes it easy for you to backup all your settings, hand histories and files.

This is a new feature and there are some compatibility issues with it so if you have any problems you can do this manually by following the instructions below:

    Manual database backup/restore via pgadmin - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...store+Database
