    Default HUD bug

    Hey Staff,

Im not quite sure if this is posted in the right section,
but my HUD wont startup either through start auto import,
relaunch hud or in the hand history.
I recently formatted my pc and reinstalled hm but it gives me an error
The error is included in the attachment, my request would be a solution or teamview session, thanks in advance.
Ive tried to reinstall .Net framework and HM in different orders but never managed to remove the error and use the hud again.

Could you please answer these questions - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=174

I will forward a link to this thread to the HUD developer also.

Also, could you please enable logging in the HUD. HUD Options > Tables Preferences > Enable Logging, and send the log.txt file from the logs folder after it happens again.

When sending the log file to mike@holdemmanager.net, please include a link to this thread and your HM Forums screen name.

    answer to questions:

    1) What version of Holdem Manager are you using eg 1.06.04 Beta 12?
    -1.08.04 - the latest

    2) What Poker Site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than 1 site?
    -Everest Poker, Yes

2a) Have you clicked the Start Auto Import Button?
    -Yes

    3) Have you the settings exactly as per the FAQ for your site?
-Its not that the hud isnt working, it isnt starting due to an error

    4) Can you see the Hand History files showing up in the correct Folder on your PC, this folder should be indentical to the path location you set in Options > Configure Auto Import Folder in HM? If so please copy and paste the location as shown in the FAQ?
-They show up in the correct folder and I can check the hand history in HM (also winnings)

    5) Are the hands being imported into Holdem Manager?
    -Yes

5a) Do they import if you create a new database?
    -N/A

    6) Have You Tried the Table Finder and did it work?
    -Table Manager Won't startup

    7) If you open the HH are they written in English?
    -Yes

    8) If your using Vista have you UAC disabled?
-Im using Win2k and Im on admin account

    9) Have you attached the holdemmanager.config file?
    -Yeah

    -------------------------

It wont give me a log.txt file in the logs folder after I enable the logs, probably because there is nothing to log because its not starting.

In the meanwhile I also reinstalled HM (just HM, not postgres) but the same error whenever the hud is asked.

thanks for the effort in advance,
    Koen Reefman

Lastest 'Stable release', but not the most recent version. Please try updating to 1.09 Beta 9 and see if the problem persists - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmBetaUpdate.exe

Our beta release forum is located here - http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/f...splay.php?f=11

If you are still having problems using the latest beta, please let us now, and we will get you scheduled for a remote support session so someone can help you sort it out.
