    Default Transport Connection Error?

    Hi,

When i try and to open HEM, the follow error messages pop up (see attachment). HEM will then close upon closing these messages. Ive had the problem before to the extent that i had to reinstall HEM. Any guidance/assistance that could be provided would be greatly appreciated

    Thank you

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates.
If that doesn't resolve it, try a reinstall with the full installer @ http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...ager_Setup.exe

    Run pgadminIII
Can you connect to the "postgres" database in pgadminIII?

    Password: postgrespass

    If you can't:
    try this:

    Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Stop Service

    Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Start Service

If that doesnt help delete the \postgresql\8.x\data\postmaster.pid file, if you see it. And reboot.

If that doesn't help you will have to reinstall PostgreSQL completely
