    Default Calculating betsize.

    Whats the formula for 3B?
    If blinds are 10/20.
Villain raises to 40 and I want to 3B to either 90/95/105.
How do I set that up in TN, how do you calculate it?

Also, wanted to make a shortkey for betting 35 into 80, but it doesnt work. Any ideas?

TableNinja isn't setup for betting specific amounts. Instead it runs through a formula to determine pot size. When you are the first to bet on a given street the pot-size is simply the total amount bet on all previous streets. In situations where someone else has bet in front of you TableNinja calculates a pot-percentage bet as the amount of chips that have been bet prior to your action plus half of a minimum raise times the specified percentage, plus half of a minimum raise. For example, if you are first to act on the flop and the pot is 1000 and 80% pot bet would 800. As a second example, if the small blind and the big blind post the blinds and two players limp an 80% pot sized bet would be 4.6 big blinds. That's 80% of 4.5 big blinds plus one additional big blind.

    0.5BB+ 1BB+1BB+1BB= 3.5BB * 80% = 2.8BB. or?

Can you show me how to calculate this please (blinds 10/20):
Villain raises to 40 and I want to 3B to either 90/95/105.

    Thanks!

If you follow the formula exactly you get:

(the amount of chips that have been bet prior to your action) = 10 SB + 20 BB + 40 Raise = 70
    (plus half of a minimum raise times the specified percentage) = 1/2 * 60 (the min raise) * 100% = 30
    (plus half of a minimum raise) = 1/2 * 60 (the min raise) = 30

For a total of 70 + 30 + 30 = 130 at 100% of pot. It sounds like your wanting to reraise somewhere around 60% of pot but you will need to play around a bit with the numbers to find the closest fit.
