    Default Not showing hand histories

    Hi,

It's been a few days that my HEM isn't showing my imported hands anymore, whatever tab I try (Yes, they are imported fine, I can see my graph and stats and my sessions etc, but nowhere the hands appear).
I've seen that there a few threads about this issue already and really hope for a solution because I have a 2million+ hands database and exporting and importing hand for hand will take AGES (btw how can you export hands if they are not showing in your handscolumn?)

So, please tell me that there is something else I can do except for creating a new database.

Ps : - Yes, I tried reindexing and no that didnt help
    - Yes I tried rebooting/restarting HEM
    - Yes I cleared all my filters

It is most likely a corrupt database. This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created).

We have a backup and restore feature within Holdem Manager that makes it easy for you to backup all your settings, hand histories and files.
    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...up+%26+Restore

This is a new feature and there are some compatibility issues with it so if you have any problems you can do this manually by following the instructions below:

    Manual database backup/restore via pgadmin - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...store+Database

To backup everything manually for reimport.

    Export your Hand Histories
    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands

    Export Your Notes
    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/notes-02.jpg

Export Your Bonuses and Rakeback – Options > Rakeback & Bonuses http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/...bonuses-01.jpg

Export any tourney summaries by selecting all your tournaments in the Data View Sub-Tab of the Tourney > Results Menu and choose Export Tourney Results and summaries

    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/...ta-view-01.jpg

Then can you create a new database http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database

Finally reimport all your hands/notes/summaries into the new database

If you play a site like stars/ftp you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney histories/results.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...Import+Folders

The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

    thanks for your quick reply.
I got one more question, I have a pretty recent backup, like from 2 months ago. But isn't it dangerous to restore it from that backup? Seen that my database went corrupt only a month later?

It's possible the backup already contains a corruption.
Since you have a fairly recent backup, just restore it, and import your most recent hands.

If it corrupts again, create a new database and reimport ALL your hands.

On which site were they played?
Import them from the archive folder, C:/HMArchive.

Try to export all your hands.

    Options--> Database Management--> Connect--> Select your database--> Export
They should still export, even if they don't show.

Creating a new database should not affect your HUD settings. Did you reinstall HM as well as postgresql? If yes, did you export your old HUDs or backup your \Config folder before uninstalling?
