HM1 is installed and is working without problems. When starting HM2 it isn't running.

    Where is my log file?
    7: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\

Showing hidden files: How to show hidden files in Windows 7

    XP: c:\documents and settings\{username}\appdata\HoldemManager

    Showing hidden files: Microsoft Corporation

has to have a log file.

Take a screenshot of that folder.

Have you finished an installation successfully?

I would download Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

Uninstall HM2 using that. Use the advanced format and delete registry and extra files.

Then try reinstalling, it looks like it never fully installed. So if Revo doesn't find HM2, then go to c:\program files\holdemmanager2 and delete that whole folder.

    Then reinstall.

After trying your solutions which didn't work for my system, I came to conclusion, that there is something wrong with my system that prevents the installer from creating the configuration files. So I decided to set up a clean system, and finally Holdemmanager2 installed without previous problems.
    Thx for the help.
