No luck on first install

Gone through turning off UAC, removing and reinstalling .net framework, postgresql is installed with the latest version, etc.

I'm running vista and can't get in at all, I get the HEM has stopped working dialog every time.

Thoughts? Additional steps to try?

Can you reactivate and desactivate the UAC and retry.

reactivated, restarted, deactivated, restarted.

maybe a weird coincidence but now it thinks for about 6 seconds before failing where it previously immediately failed.
