Stats won't stay fixed

I've tried some of the suggestions from the FAQ's but I'm bad with programs like this and I have been failing miserably. I want my stats to be arranged the way I want and for them to show up that way every time I start a session. As of late I have been able to arrange the stats in the position I want, but whenever I close HEM, it seems to forget how I placed them and I have to do it all over again. Some things I want to manage:

a) Is it possible to arrange them differently for PS / FTP?

b) What do I have to do to get them to stay where I want?

c) How do I know what # seat I have selected as preferred.

Some things to note: I have auto-center enabled on FTP and I have the bottom right seat selected as preferred on PS.
