As a non computer guy that site is very confusing to me.
Where do I go to actually download the 8.4.8 installer?
After reinstalling PostgreSQL 5 times in 5 different ways, I finally got it to work.
First I followed the complete faq, which didn't really do anything.
Using the combo installer and only selecting postgreSQL did the trick for me.
