That solved it, in the sense of I can now get into the Sessions report
So the takeaway is "don't change the columns in your reports because HM3 will randomly crash at some point if you do"?

Just Sessions.
I am on 3.1.16.7045
Opened HM3 several times now to confirm can get to Cash Results by Stakes but not Sessions. Have sent you logs from the HELP menu while it was hung failing to...
Start HM3: Fine. Opens to main screen as usual.
Select Sessions report: Processing starts and doesn't stop. HM3 doesn't go into "not reponding" mode though, it just thinks and thinks and ....
Crap...
Thanks for posting. The more people who flag this issue, the quicker they'll figure it out and fix it.
Also, you said in another thread where someone mentioned this issue that you'd not had any logs sent in about it. Well, HM3 has auto-sent you 3 sets of logs while this issue has been ongoing.

Fixed the cooling issue, no change.
Tried to purge some old hands but that process crashed while running overnight.
Created a new database and it started at 12Gb RAM while empty. Loaded in this...
Since the last update:
-Deleted some popups I don't use.
-Disabled session stats in HUD options
-Lowered max hands to 10k from 20k
Same issue.
Strangely tangential but I've been having heat...
Not saying there's not an issue (because there is with this whole thing anyway) but just that the 3-handed example you gave is consistent with how they think they're meant to do it.
I said to myself: "I wonder if there was action after the short stack was all-in because if not then the all-in calculation will work." From the looks of the hand example you gave, that's the case....
No, it's not to do with being 4-handed vs 3-handed. They know how to do it, they did it in HM2, it's a choice arising from being confused by a poker 'authority' who wrote some contextually flawed...
No bias is introduced because the adjusted results are simply what hero should expect his results to be if he won at the % given by his all-in equity at the point he was all-in and cards are known to...
It's cos of different stack sizes. If you were all 100bb, or whatever, then it'd calculate it but multi-way with different stack sizes and nope.
- No alias.
- Haven't used the live play tab since that bug showed up where it showed the wrong stats many months ago. Did check it a couple weeks back and the bug was still there. Did have...
And ... back up to 12Gb.
Note, since typing that it's settled down to it's more normal 6Gb.
So it's a transient thing for the first half hour of loading up? Appreciate any guidance on this.
Well over 50% increase and, naturally, it's interfering with everything. I run a 16Gb system and it's currently using around 12Gb.
Any reason for this? I'm aware many people are going to struggle...
There's two schools of thought on multi-way all-in EV calculations. One is that you calculate winning percentages at the point those are known, giving you the long run EV of the exact spot you find...
Me too. No windows update last night except for a security intelligence update for Microsoft defender antivirus (version 1.327.733.0) but those happen nearly every day so can't see how that would...
Honestly, I pointed out to you months ago that your logic is flawed on this point. At the time you said you'd add the option to calculate all-in EV in line with HM2 to the development workstream. I...
It's really difficult to get at a set of results that achieve the following: 1) each combination of hero's actions and actions he faces that 2) capture all the hands in the DB so the totals add up.

This happens sometimes for me too. The solution that works for me is to stop anything connected to the internet and retry. Second time usually gets in immediately.
It's difficult to reproduce. The bugs are in the filter construction through the filter editor. If I build up the filter slowly and type each piece, I get out the hands and total match up. The actual...
I ran a simple filter of "Position = Button and HandDateTime={d'LastMonths=6'} and FacingPreflopThreeBet=false and (NumberOfPlayersSawFlop = 2) and AllInOnPreflop=false and...
Done
Title says it all. It's v3.1.6.0 and since I can't get in, I can't send you logs or anything. There's no error messages. It just sits there.
