I'd like to test a fix on a different computer than mine.

In 99,99% the error is caused by:

1) Old EyePoker version.
Make sure you use version 2.08 or newer:

2) Enable all dealer messages in the chatbox at the table...

You have to use the "Rating" for that.
Double click the players rating value to edit that...

There is seem to be no general problems with FullTilt anymore.

Unfortunately the license server we use (3rd party solution) doesn't allow a trial reset / modification.

This should be just a display error.
The scanner should still be able to retrieve the players statistics even if it displays the name slightly wrong.

Correct.
But it may happen that the auto activation doesn't work at some people.
In this case they can activate/deactivate the font smoothing manually.
