Hey! The last update for HM2 was 2.9.96.0 (in April) which added a critical malfunction of the program (notes are not written, stopping at the last hand), but the seek function was fixed. Are there any chances that a new update will be released?

Notecaddy updates are independant from the platform it is installed on. The latest Notecaddy version is 9006.
9006 is now available for HM2. Apologies for the delay

I can't make the download of the new version happen automatically? When I click "Check for Updates" I get a message that I have the most recent, although right now I am using 2.9.83.0.
