Hi,

Its been a while since i have used HEM but after updating to the latest version i get the following message when starting HEM:

Error initializing importer: Could not load file or assembly 'Npgsql, version=1.98,4.0 Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=5d8b90d52f46fda7' or one of ist dependencies. The located assemblys manifest definition does not match the assembly reference (Exception from HRESULT: 0x080131040) Params C:\programfiles\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\HMImport.exe/SMS

I am able to view previous sessions and reports yet cannot import any new hands into HEM. Table finder launch's fine but no HUD.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Are you using Norton?

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe (reinstall it)

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily

Thanks,

it seemed to be a problem with Norton. Reinstalling the beta, then catching Norton when it tried to stop the autoimporter and remove it seems to have worked.

i must of missed the pop up when it did this after i updated the first time.

thanks for the help
