Ok, so I started playin poker again after a break been using Hold'em manager for 2 years or so never had a problem. Now i can't even get it to start and i've read all the FAQ guides, the forums, reinstalled Hold'em manager, uninstalled all internet sercurity + turned off windows firewall + windows defender, Started restarted SQL server nuthin seems to work...

Every time i get the message "Error when connecting to holdemanager database: Unable to read data from transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host."

Sometimes though if i keep tryin to connect it will get through and i'm able to use HUD but when i check session stats it crashes its gettin very annoying

Which SQL version are you using?

Which Operating System are you using?
Turn off User Account Control: How to Disable and Turn Off UAC in Windows 7 « My Digital Life (http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/12/30/how-to-disable-and-turn-off-uac-in-windows-7/)

Turn the Windows Firewall back on:
Add exceptions to the firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe

Or you could try to install SQL 9.0.4 to port 5433 from PostgreSQL: The world's most advanced open source database (http://www.postgresql.org)

Connect to it in dbcontrolpanel.exe
Create a new database--> reimport your hands.

I'm Currently using 8.4 the one that comes with Hold'em manager Combo installer

I'm using Windows 7
Turning off UAC through control panel doesn't seem to work either

I've already added exceptions to the firewall for Holdemmanager.exe,
HMhud.exe, port 5432, DBControlPanel.exe, Pg_ctl.exe and Postgres.exe

I'll try install the newest version of SQL i guess
