need to upgrade postgres

I have been running HM for about a month and it's been good, although I've had some performance issues in some areas.

I just noticed that I have been running this whole time on postgres 8.0 instead of 8.3 which i would guess is not good. :mad:

What's my best plan of attack from here? Export the hands out, install the new version, import and start over? Perform an upgrade procedure? I probably have around 500k hands in my DB if that matters.

I guess you could if you want but if it works fine without problems theres no great rush, im unsure if there will be any performance boost between 8 and the the other two but obviosuly if you were starting out id say to select the newest version.

Just make sure you backup everything, HH, Notes and Layouts if you do upgrade.
