View Full Version : Problem with satellite results/winnings

I play a lot of satellites on Full Tilt, and after updating to 1.08b30 to check out the tournament tracking, there's one obvious problem.

A lot of the satellites I've won, HEM recognizes that I did finish first, but shows a $won of zero.

Strangely enough, if I look at just a small sample of my $75 buyin satellites, I've won 9 of them, but only 2 show any $won.

I would have expected to see none of them report correctly, or all of them.

The first time I saw this, I had just re-imported the histories into my current database, so I created a new DB to see if that would clear up the problem, but same thing. It shows 2 wins, but misses 7 of them.

What can I provide in the way of histories to help clear up this problem?

Email the hh of the files that show 1st but 0 winnings to morny@holdemmanager.net and also link to this thread

Email sent. I included 4 histories+summaries, the 2 that reported correctly, and 2 of the ones that reported as $0, even though the summary clearly shows I won.

Did this ever get resolved?

Maybe it's worth pointing out that HEM is completely useless for tracking satellite results right now with this bug.

And if you play a lot of satellites, the invalid satellite results interfere with normal tournament reporting as well.

This is on the todo list, well get to it asap

I have the same problem, not only with the Satellite to FTOPS Events, but also for example with the Satellite to $1K Monday where the #1 and #2 finishers win a ticket and #3 wins a cash price.

If I finished 3th, HEM correctly recognises my winnings, but it doesn't know what to do if I won Entry by finishing 1th or 2th.

Example HH summary reads:
>>
Full Tilt Poker Tournament Summary Satellite to $1K Monday (84911557) Hold'em No Limit
Buy-In: $265 + $16
Buy-In Chips: 1500
9 Entries
Total Prize Pool: $2,385
Top 2 finishers receive Entry to Tournament #82467228
Tournament started: 2009/03/23 19:49:19 ET
Tournament finished: 2009/03/23 20:18:15 ET

1: [playername], Entry to Tournament #82467228
1: [playername], Entry to Tournament #82467228
3: [playername], $265
4: [playername]
5: [playername]
6: [playername]
7: [playername]
8: [playername]
9: [playername]
[playername] finished in 1st place

Also as a result of this, I have a lot of 1st place finishes in my Finish Distribution Graph. Can I filter the satellite results out of this?

Theres no options to filter out saltelittes at the moment other than right clicking and deleting them in the Data View Column but well get satellite support added asap

Was this ever implemented? I'm still having huge issues trying to get FTP sats to import the prize data automatically. I pretty much add it manually every time.

As a related suggestion, I'd like to have user-defined tags so I can mark tourneys as "sat", "supersat", or even some of the weirder PokerStars formats like "huge add-on" or "ante up"

Hi,

Were making some updates for tourney players so you should probably get involved in this thread and see if you can get your suggestions implemented http://forums.holdemmanager.com/releases/26537-calling-all-tournament-regs.html

OK, will do.

Regarding satellite problems, I noticed that I have the following weird "users" in my DB, which provides a clue. Apparently my user name got parsed wrong in the results or something. In each case I'll replace it as though AKQJ10 is my user name:

AKQJ10, 1,800 FTP

AKQJ10, 2,150 FTP

AKQJ10, 2,750 FTP

AKQJ10, 20 FTP

AKQJ10, entry to tournament 109937276
etc. etc. with the tourney entries.

What I suspect is happening is that the parser is looking for a dollar value of the prize, and FTP is reporting the prize in qualitative (or FTP) terms.

Please zip and mail the original handhistory files and summaries for such tourneys with a link to this thread to support@holdemmanager.net
