Assume I have a desktop where I normally have HEM running...also assume that I have a laptop I want to install HEM onto for when I'm travelling...what would be the best way to keep the databases between the two computers syncronized?

I have the same question but I think there is a difference between sharing a database and sync'ing HEM on two computers.

I play from two computers. And I would hate to have to carry an external hard drive back and forth. But I would like to keep my results updated on both computers. Any ideas?

I am trying to create a solution using Dropbox but I can't seem to make it work. My idea was to import from HMArchive on both computers, but it doesn't seem to work...should I not be able to import my hands from the archive?

You may need to copy the files from the archive and paste them to a new folder for HM to not assume they are duplicates.

You can also do a bulk export of each of your DB's, and then import each one to the other PC.

The filtered export hasn't been added yet, but there is a work around for small groups of hands. You filter to see something like your hands from 'This Week'. Go to the Hands tab > select the radio button [x] All, to load all filtered hands. Right-Click > Export All Hands to Hard Drive.

Hello, I was curious since this thread was over a year old, and I wanted to put HEM onto my other computer, I wanted to know if there are any new features I should be looking out for now.

I basically just wanted to put HEM on my other computer and have the database synced as the same as on my laptop that's I've been using my other license.

So then I don't have to do no importing/exporting. Is this possible, and what are the best ways for the newest version of HEM? thanks so much for everyone's feedback and help, it's greatly appreciated.

Create a backup of your installation on PC1 and restore it on PC2.

Just wanted to post that syncing with 2 pc's so easy to do and I'm so amazed at how hassle free it was. Loving HEM even more everyday. :D
