-Downloaded the 1.11.07 version, and rebooted the pc...

-The software displays a warning message that it will do something to the database that could take a lot of time...

-Then an error showed up:

"An error occurred while updating your DB (CompiledPlayerResults Phase 2):
ERROR: 23505: duplicate key value violated unique constraint
"compiledplayerresults_month_idx1"

Please close down any programs accessing the databse and relaunch Holdem manager."

-Then i press ok, and the program that was initializing/compiling info about the DB crashes and closes.

-Then i've checked the tasks and i found several psq taks running; i've ended them; also found Holdem Manager Importer; ended also;

-Then i try to open the HM again to continue the unfinished progress and the database error 127.0.0.1 that is very frequent happens...

HOW can i fix this?
Will i have to install postgres again?
Can't HM work with other database program that originates less issues???

Run dbcontrolpanel.exe (in the HoldemManager folder)-->create a new database
and reimport your handhistores by running a import from folder on your archive folder, C:/HMArchive

If you can't connect at all in pgadminIII:
This is usually a firewall or windows update issue.

First try to reboot.

If no help, try this:

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Stop Service

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Start Service

If that doesnt help delete the \postgresql\8.x\data\postmaster.pid file, if you see it. And reboot.

If that doesn't help you will have to reinstall PostgreSQL completely
