View Full Version : bodog importing (I think?), but not all showing up?

I am using the idleminer hand grabber and have played about 6500 hands on PLO cash on bodog but only about 5800 are showing up in database. I even just ran them all through again and on the import page it reported 6500 duplicates. So where are the missing hands?

I see that they are aggregating in my HUD, too.

Running latest version of HEM. Filters are clear.

What am I doing wrong here?

Update to: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/1.11.07_Windows7.exe

clear filters (even though it appears no filters are selected)

And try importing them into a new database again.

thanks for the quick reply.

okay, did the update, created a new databse and performed an import.

says it imported 7200 hands but there are only 6100 in the database again.

other ideas?

Did any hands imports as errors?

Is it possible the handgrabber grabbed hands from tables you were observing?
So you observed 1100 hands.. and weren't dealt any cards for those hands.. or you were sitting out.

only like 2 hands imported with errors.

actually, yes, some of the hands could be hands where i was sitting out or watching, but definitely not most of them.

there have been times where i was sitting at a table and the stats of the played hands were showing up in the HUD but weren't showing up in DB. sometimes they'd start showing up in DB, but not the earlier ones for that table. that make sense?

Find me a handhistory that imports X hands, where those hands (or not all of these hands) will NOT show up in HoldemManager.

Where X is smaller than 100

And email the file to support@holdemmanager.com

possibly the problem is the hand histories aren't being written? today i know i played 2/4 and there are no HHs for 2/4. i looked in idleminer folder, HEM archive, and hand history folder in My Documents. somewhere else i should be looking?

guessing that could be an idleminer problem?

^^^
but why would the hands show up in the HUD?

Play some hands without HM running.
Do they appear in the idleminer handhistory folder?
Can you import them into HM via import file?

okay, so the files that are not importing show me as "O" instead of my screen name in the hand histories...

The hands imports just fine for me.
(and I can find and select/replay the hand in HoldemManager)

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

set the date formatting of your computer to M/d/yyyy (and not to European default d/M/yyyy) with English (United States) as the regional setting. And reboot.

Which PostgreSQL version are you using?
If 8.3--> update to 8.4.4 from PostgreSQL: The world's most advanced open source database (http://www.postgresql.org)
And reimport your hands into a new database.

I created an alias for my SN and '0' so now I've got all my hands together. Thanks for all the help!
