I cannot set up import folders for Hand Histories because

I get this error message:

c: users>Lyn>ApplDate>Local>History is not accessible. Access is denied.

So, HUD will not work without this because the error message I get is it needs hand history, and auto import does not work without setting up the import folders.

why did it work yesterday, and after I uninstalled and then reinstalled 1.07 and downloaded 108 beta 29 I cannot access the HH file or set up import folders.

someone please give me some help....

I am administrator.
I have it rigged so I can see all hidden files...why will this bleeping computer not grant me access.

thanks, Lyn

here is why I cannot access those files:

"they are displayed with a transparent icon and a shortcut symbol.

Although these look like folders, they are actually what is known as a junction. Junctions behave like shortcuts, but look just like regular folders.

Their purpose is to silently redirect programs that access them to their Windows Vista equivalent.

Since junctions aren't really folders, it is not possible to access them, and any attempt to do so will give you an "Access Denied" error."

does anyone know a way around this mess
so I can set-up HEM on my laptop?

thanks...Lyn

Not sure to be honest, might have better luck posting on a PC forum. If you attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder and ill see if theres anything wrong there

Morny, I really need your help.

I have figured out how to get around the "files" I could not access. I deleted it. Ha, when all else fails, delete! Then I created the files (yes, real files) I needed in the correct file path.

But, I still am unable to get HEM to automatically or manually import Hand History files. Everything else is working.

This is what I need your help with...I am stuck. I'm certain a brief on-line meeting would do the trick.

thanks again for your help...Lyn
